The Ten Dollar Bill Deal

with 5 comments

Hey guys,

It’s been 4 days since the end of Unstoppable Camp, I hope you guys have been practicing and training hard with your R.O.D!

These quotes have been edited.

Don’t be so “nua”. Be a man. Get your balls rollin’!

Grow up. Stop hiding behind your mother’s skirt! Hold your own spoon. Start feeding yourselves!

Stop bouncing the ball around. Start playing as a team!

We didn’t bank in $10 for nothing. I hope you can still remember what you promised God and Central D before you made that investment. As for me, I will promise to lead Central D with 100% diligence and whatever ingredients that will contribute to the completion of AC & NT.

$10 may be easy for you to cough out, but it may not be for some significant others – if they are game enough to make that investment, I’m sure that cause is worthy of your all – don’t forfeit it for anything else.

Love,
Xanthe

Are you Unstoppable?

without comments

Hey Central D,

3 days

to the Unstoppable Camp – how are you preparing yourself for it?

If you are clueless, here are some tips!

PHYSICAL PREPARATION:

  1. Please click here for more details!
  2. Apart from the standard clothes and toilet necessities, I need every Central D-ian to bring along a legal tender $10 Singapore dollar note and do not use it until further instructions have been given.
  3. Central Caregroup Identity Competition – logon to centralbeyondhorizons.blogspot.com for more details! The winner must come from Central D, okay!

SPIRITUAL PREPARATION:

I hope you have been doing your pre-camp devotions because they are really helpful! If not…

  1. Keep praying for the next few days that God will give you a “really really soft heart (like tofu)” – quoted chanjay.wordpress
  2. Set your camp objectives – be specific! Write it down on a postcard and slot in between your bible! I.e. I want to account to my shepherd about… I want to get to know my caregroup member xxx more… I want to talk to my sheep xxx about… I want to encourage xxx…

Life transformation begins before the camp – when you see the need to change something even before the camp itself, God will be able to speak to you much more during the camp itself.

That’s all folks – for now!

I have school on Friday so I will be joining you all a bit later! As usual, I will see you on the 12th night for a short briefing and again on the 14th night for a time of sharing.

Looking forward to a megablast ahead!

Love
Xanthe
