Our boys have fought their way through the semi-finals, defeating Tag United with a score of 2-0, clinching for themselves a position in the Finals!

Come join us as we root Feetwashers on in the Finals of Hope Premier League on the 21st September 2009, Monday at Yio Chu Kang Stadium! Special highlights include Daniel as our mascot and cheerleader! Hurray!

HEY TO ALL CENTRAL D-ians!

Im sure that most of you have been going down to either of these 2 schools:

To invite our dearest new found friends right! Haha i really want to thank those who really make the effort to go down specially to these schools to gather contacts despite the busy schedule! God will bless you abundantly!

Haha, anyway as we are gathering our contactings and sowing on them, lets not forget, lets try to build the friendship and encourage them to attend Rendition and give them a chance to know more about our God

Hey guys,

I am not sure if you guys caught my heart beat earlier at today’s impromptu Central D meeting, but whatever emotions that I spelt out to you all earlier, excitement, anger, anxiousness, sadness and disappointment – I felt them all. To be honest, I was raging. I could have bawled my lungs out so maybe some of us would get started, but no, I chose not to do so because I did not want to let fear be your motivation.

It’s only 2 weeks to Rendition Part 1 and it was disappointing to know that barely half the unit had at least 1 contact to sow on. It made me feel cheated of the ten dollar commitment that we made at Downtown East – were they just for a show?

I understand that the timing clashes and I really do appreciate the efforts that some of you guys put it.

Maybe, some of us have forgotten the very purpose of why we are doing what we are doing.
Maybe, some of us have forgotten what it feels like to experience the showers of God’s love for the first time.
Maybe, some of us have forgotten what it feels like to personally see a friend cross the line of faith.

Just for this week, we need to slow down our lives and get back on the right track.

It’s our last two weeks to Rendition, can we give it our best shot?

FAST!

Congratulations if you have guessed it!

Yep, after some reviews with the Central ULs, we are finally doing away with our weekly fast on Mondays. This time round, as a district, we are declaring a Daniel Fast! The term may be alien to some of you all but not to worry, we have these brief FAQ below to enlighten you. If you still have further questions regarding the fast, please feel free to approach your shepherds, CL or myself. 

Why are we fasting?
We fast because we want to see God move in our pioneering schools!

Who should fast?
Anyone who wants to see a community built in their pioneering school.

What kind of fast?
Daniel Fast – Huh what? We are fasting from Daniel? No. It is a special kind of fast not entirely from food.

How do we fast?
First, we review our life to see if we are addicted to any form of pleasure (be it coke, fast food, facebook, dota, basketball etc).
Second, we ask ourselves “Am I able to live without this for 1 month or even 1 week?
Thirdly, if our answer to the second question is no, then that is the thing that you may need to fast from!

When are we starting and how long are we going to fast for?
From Monday 29th June 2009 until end August 2009!

P.S. If we are unsure, we can always check with our shepherds. 

It’s about 4 hours more before our fast officially commences – I bet some of you are going to gorge yourself with the item that you are going to fast from, haha!

Remember to not just fast, but PRAY as well! Have a great week gathering contacts! I will be labouring in prayer with you all on days that I cannot be there.

It’s been 4 days since the end of Unstoppable Camp, I hope you guys have been practicing and training hard with your R.O.D!

These quotes have been edited.

Don’t be so “nua”. Be a man. Get your balls rollin’!

Grow up. Stop hiding behind your mother’s skirt! Hold your own spoon. Start feeding yourselves!

Stop bouncing the ball around. Start playing as a team!

We didn’t bank in $10 for nothing. I hope you can still remember what you promised God and Central D before you made that investment. As for me, I will promise to lead Central D with 100% diligence and whatever ingredients that will contribute to the completion of AC & NT.

$10 may be easy for you to cough out, but it may not be for some significant others – if they are game enough to make that investment, I’m sure that cause is worthy of your all – don’t forfeit it for anything else.
